First Day of School

Our first day of school is August 12th, 2025. Class begins at 7:50 am and ends at 3:30 pm.
After-School Enrichment
After-school Enrichment runs 3:30-5:30 Monday through Thursday.
The A+UP Afterschool Program extends learning beyond the bell with hands-on experiences designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and strengthen community. Rooted in our school’s commitment to personalized, real-world learning, our afterschool offerings give students space to explore their interests, develop new skills, and connect with peers in a supportive, joyful environment.
Students can participate in academic support sessions, creative workshops, STEM enrichment, physical activities, and collaborative projects led by caring adults who know them well. Each session is structured to cultivate independence, nurture passions, and reinforce the habits of success our students use every day.
At A+UP, afterschool isn’t just extra time it’s extra opportunity – a place where students grow, discover, and thrive.

Learn about charter schools
-
A charter school is an independently run, tuition-free, public school granted greater flexibility in its operations (budget and resource allocation, hiring and developing staff, and designing their educational program) in return for greater accountability for student results.
-
Charter schools create choices for families who seek the most appropriate public school environment for their children. They operate with freedom from some of the regulations that are imposed upon district schools. Charter schools are accountable for upholding the promises made in their charters.
-
A+UP Charter School will provide services for all students including students with special needs and limited English proficiency.
